Cabinet extends WeCanMake’s area of operation to cover all of South Bristol
WeCanMake works with families in housing need to unlock land and create affordable community-led homes. We have successfully completed two homes in Knowle West for local people, with more homes in the planning pipeline.
We are delighted to announce that Bristol City Council agreed at February’s Cabinet Meeting (6 February) to extend WeCanMake’s area of operation to cover all wards of South Bristol. The next step is to get this extension signed off by the Secretary of State for Levelling Up.
WeCanMake is able to help families in housing need – for example where households are overcrowded. Families need to be registered on HomesChoice, be council tenants in South Bristol, and have enough space in a rear or side garden for a WeCanMake home.
